Description
Comprised of selections from Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion , Commentaries on the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Romans , and Commentaries on the Book of the Prophet Daniel , this volume reflects Calvin's view that man is not less but rather more political when he is motivated by religion.Calvin is repelled, and even appalled by the type of sectarian spirituality that would desert the sphere of politics as beneath the spiritual man's plane of living.
