"Bipolar disorders are among the more common conditions affecting humankind and are, consequently, leading causes of disability worldwide. These illnesses are dynamic and complex, so that identifying them and then provide optimal management can be challenging. Because of this complexity, these conditions often comprise a disproportionate amount of most psychiatric practices, as specialty care that exceeds what can be delivered by other practitioners is often required.
