Description

The Poor Relation is burdened with an undesirable guest brought in by Sir Philip Sommerville. The vulgar Mrs. Budge has stolen Sir Philip's heart away from Miss Tonks. Other guests include Lady Carruthers, who refuses to act her age, and her daughter Arabella, who is in love with the Earl of Denby but stands little chance of capturing him because of her mother.
