Description

Having previously found exciting action in their home town and on a sailing vessel, Dillon and Kyle are once again off on a new adventure. This time they are serving as scouts on an expedition through the mountains of Pennsylvania. The area was used by soldiers in the Revolutionary War, but their routes have been largely unused since then and have become overgrown. Along with Gabby and her horse, our adventurers must find the trail again. It is thought that valuable artifacts were left by the soliders. The Professor wants to preserve these pieces of history, but not everyone on the expedition has such noble motives. Important Bible lessons for young people are woven throughout the text of this very entertaining story in which Dillon and Kyle discover the "Secret on Broad Mountain".
