Description
Pig Tales is Marie Darrieussecq's utterly unconventional first novel in which gender, politics, and social hypocrisy all come under satiric scrutiny. Darrieusscq tells the story of a young woman who lands a position at Perfumes Plus, a beauty boutique/"massage" parlor. She enjoys extraordinary success until she slowly metamorphoses into...a pig.
