Description

Spatz was looking out the backdoor when a scratching sound reached his keen ears. The intelligent black, white, and brown Sheltie knew he had to track it down. I have to go out, he barked. So begins the encounter of an exuberant Shetland sheepdog with a distinctive scratching sound and its source, Gray Squirrel. This beautifully-illustrated children's book introduces the real-life adventures of Spatz, a Sheltie who likes to get dirty, play hide-and-seek, fetch balls, catch Frisbees, and even blow bubbles underwater. He lives with his owner Sherry Fair in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains and the South Carolina Midlands.
