Description

Ananke Fishbein, a normal 13-year old, narrates this charming adventure/mystery story set in New York City. When Ananke meets a new girl in her class, Kiki Strike, she knows something is up--Kiki's answer to 'what do you want to be when you grow up?" is "dangerous." And sure enough, Kiki has soon recruited six girls from different schools with very different skills to help her explore the hidden passageways beneath New York City.
