Description
Located along the central flyway, Indiana is a great place to experience the migration of songbirds, waterfowl, shorebird, and raptors. There are also notable breeding species like Red-shouldered Hawk, Prothonotary Warbler, and Bell’s Vireo. Over 400 species are either permanent residents, regular breeders, or annual migrants, and it can be a bit daunting to get to know so many species at the outset.
