Spelling curriculum based on reading passages, transcribing and dictation. This allows students to learn words in context, comiting spelling to long-term memory. Level A is designed to move students from the preliterate stage to the phonetic stage of spelling. This level focuses on lowercase letter formation, consonants and short vowels.
