Growing up in Ada, Oklahoma, Blake Shelton was singing along with country records for fun as loudly as he could. When Blake's older brother was tragically killed in a car accident, music helped him deal with his grief. Determined to make it as a country music star, Blake set out for Nashville, where he found value in being himself and having fun.
