Welcome to this little guide to Taiwan. Taiwan is an island located in the southeast of China. Formally part of China, Taiwan nevertheless operates independently. Located at an equal distance from Japan than from South-East Asia and in particular from Vietnam, the country enjoys a semi-tropical climate, in fact the country is much less affected by the rainy season, and there is also a winter season, despite that temperatures remain high.
