Description

With its high resolution and non-invasive character, contrast-enhanced MR angiography (CE-MRA) is fast becoming a diagnostic method of choice in detecting cardiovascular disease. Additionally, MR scanners can also perform first-pass perfusion studies with contrast agents for the detection and characterization of tissue ischemia. This highly-illustrated text is based on the extensive experience with CE-MRA and perfusion studies by a team of Czech cardiologists and radiologists.
