Description

In 1951, Steve Calrk accepts a teaching job in a one-room school in the Missouri Ozarks. He and his pregnant wife Lacey move to the isolated backwoods community of Indian Glade, to discover a place where everyone speaks in Elizabethan terms and lives by old customs and beliefs. The Clarks find a beautiful empty house to rent but are forewarned by the locals that "The last folks lived there claimed it weren't natural ..." The first night in their new home, the Clarks find out for themselves.
