Description

The 20th century in art began in 1907 with Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. This work marked a breach with the past and one of the most important paths of research for the future. At about the same time the first avantgarde movements began the experiments with form, language, techniques and materials that would characterize the whole century: Cubism, Expressionism, Abstract Art, Futurism and Dadaism. There was a new relationship between art and reality.
