It is now well established that unconventional machining processes are able to meet the challenges posed by the demand for economic machining of ultra-hard and high strength materials to close tolerances. Over the last decade, most of unconventional processes emerged swiftly from the laboratory research to production lines across the country due to demand from diversified industries such as automotive, aircraft, biotechnology, chemical and nuclear industries.
