Description

It is December 1891 and the East End of Glasgow is languishing beneath a thick, suffocating shroud of fog which is harbouring within its grasp, evil personified. A vicious murder has been discovered, a young woman the victim. DI Ben Pollock finds himself caught up in a burgeoning case where the dead are beginning to look like outnumbering Pollock's investigating team. Suspects flit in and out of Pollock's sight like phantoms in the fog, with Pollock being vilified for his lack of progress.
