Description
Life was not easy for women in the 17th century. Those who married rich were expected to serve and support their husbands. Sex was a taboo topic and women were not supposed to enjoy it. They had to satisfy their husband's sexual needs when the men were not at a brothels, or sleeping with other women.Poor women had slightly more sexual freedom. But, as servants, they had little time to enjoy themselves. In the Caribbean Sea, some women escaped the harsh life of servants and became pirates.
