Description
The day was typical for private detective Joe Caruso. But when Phyllis Steele, a beautiful and wealthy Chicago socialite, walked into his office, he had little idea what lay ahead. She hires Caruso to find her former lover, an ex-professional boxer named Julio Silva, recently released from prison. The same man whose sister, Maria, Joe Caruso, arrested years ago for murder. What happens next isn't typical. The judge who sentenced Silva to prison is murdered-thrown from his apartment window.
