Description

When Joe, an eleven-year-old Baltimore Negro boy, gets into trouble, he is placed with the Tipper family on their horse farm for his probation. Through the family, especially fourteen-year-old Monk, and the sport of jousting, he learns to assume responsibility for his actions.
